Love Island fans were faced with the news that there will be no summer series this year due to the coronavirus.
But fear not, as devoted fans can still crack on with Love Island Australia, which is being shown in its place during June and July.
The 2018 series has been labelled: «Bring on the Bombshells, the Bromances and a little bit of Naughty Naughty! It’s the Love Island you love, just with a different accent. Bring it on!”
As with the UK series of Love Island, the Australian version is being broadcast on ITV2.
It will also be shown as if it were a new series, with a new episode every night so Love Island fans can get their dose of the dating show.
The first episode is being shown tonight and it will be starting at 9pm sharp.
As this is the first in the series, the first 10 single boys and girls will enter the villa, and will be greeted by Aussie host Sophie Monk.
The singer and Australian reality TV favourite is pretty popular down under, and has been described as a sassier version of UK host Laura Whitmore.
In an exclusive first clip ahead of tonight’s show, bombshell Sophie struts her stuff as she parades into the iconic Spanish villa to meet the eager girls of the series.
Wearing an eye-catching orange bodycon dress and a pair of killer heels, the blonde beauty could pass for a model as she struts the red carpet into the villa.
Sophie marches into the back garden of the villa where the gorgeous girls are sitting around the fire-pit chatting all things love and lust.
Cassidy, Erin, Francoise, Kim, Millie and Tayla discuss what they look for in a boy with Sophie with the main priority being a good kisser.
Blonde beauty Erin preaches: «They have to be a good kisser. That’s what is most important to me from the outset!».
To which Sophie replies: «Can you not teach them?».
As a result all the girls break into squeals and insist that boys should know what they’re doing when it comes to smooching.
The Aussie series is narrated by Irish star Eoghan McDermott.
Much like UK series voice Iain Sterling, viewers are in for a serious laugh.
